From information systems to robots, from web applications to mobile applications, artificial intelligence or virtual reality, software engineers play a key role in keeping these tools running smoothly. This exchange program offers you the knowledge and software engineering skills to design and develop creative solutions.

This is an exchange program from the School of Creative Technology.

Broad orientation on software engineering modules

Are you a typical computer scientist? Do you have at least one year experience in coding and computing? We offer a broad orientation on software engineering modules that enables you to expand your software engineering knowledge and skills.

Competences

Software Engineering offers a nice mixture of theory, skills and team based projects in each term. The projects are based on real challenges and often developed in narrow co-operation with companies. This way you will be fully prepared for a job in the industry. The IT industry thinks and works globally. That's why we teach in English and maintain a large international network of companies and partner schools.

Course Content

Depending the requirements of your home university or level of your education you can choose subjects/modules for a total of 30 ECTS per semester from the first and second year of our software engineering program. Together we can create a personal plan that suits your needs.

The options mentioned above are mentioned for students who have completed at least one year of an IT study at their home university. Those who are already in their third or fourth year could also chose one of our other exchange programs Advanced App development (30 ects, fall and spring), Improve your Business with data (30 ects, fall and spring), IT security (30 ects, fall and spring), or Cloud Engineering( 30 ects, spring)). These exchange programs are taught in English and part of our regular 4th year program in Software Engineering. For each of these exchange programs an intake assessment is required.
