The INTRO is coming up and is the best way to kick off your studies 💚 From 27 to 29 August, you'll get to meet your future classmates and lecturers, and take part in many fun activities. ✅ How to join the INTRO
To join the INTRO, you need to sign up. You can find the registration forms below. Choose the location of your study programme.

The costs are 45 euros for the whole INTRO programme. What do you get for that? Of course a packed program with fun activities, but also an INTRO t-shirt and wristband, two tokens for the food trucks (Enschede/Deventer) on Tuesday, and a meal on Wednesday. In Apeldoorn, you get a meal on both Tuesday and Wednesday. - 😴 Stay overnight
Would you also like to stay overnight? For 20 euros per night you can reserve a place, including breakfast. You can book your spot in the registration form.

- Apeldoorn City Game
- With this game, you will get to know Apeldoorn and students from other schools. Which places are handy to know? Where to experience cool nights in the coming years? Where to chill out or study outside of school? You will find out during a puzzle tour created by students, the municipality of Apeldoorn, Aventus, Saxion and Wittenborg University.
Sleeping
- Lodging is possible on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
- The cost is 20€ per night.
- In the registration form for the INTRO in Apeldoorn, you can reserve your place to sleep.
- Toilets and showers are available.
- Breakfast is arranged for you every morning.
- You sleep comfortably together in rooms with bunk beds.
- Important: the accommodation is closed every day between 10:00 and 17:00.
- You will be given a sleeping wristband, which must be visible to security.
- You are allowed one bag of luggage (for logistics reasons). Attach an easily identifiable tag to your bag.
- Luggage can be dropped off at registration on Tuesday, it will be taken to the accommodation.
- You are responsible for your own belongings.

Sleeping
You will sleep at Deventer's City Camping De Worp, a unique location across the beautiful river IJssel. Good to know:
- Lodging is possible during the evenings: Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 30 August.
- The cost is 20€ per night.
- There are toilets and showers on the campsite.
- Breakfast will be arranged for you every morning at the campsite.
- You will sleep together in a large tent, so there is no need to bring your own tent.
- Please note that you will need to inflate your air bed yourself or roll out/inflate your mat.
- You are allowed to bring one bag of luggage (for logistics reasons). Bags will be dropped off at Saxion location and will be transported to the campsite by the INTRO organisation.
- You will need a sleeping writsband to access to the site. Each night has a different colour, this will be explained to you at the campsite!
- You are responsible for your own belongings.
Route to the campsite
The city camping is located across the river IJssel. Swimming is not really an option, so you'll have to take a ferry to the other side! The ferry sails a few times an hour, until 02.00. You get a wristband so you can cross for free. Your INTRO parents will also explain the route to the campsite to you. Tip: going to the campsite together with your fellow students is more fun!

Sleeping
You will come to sleep in the Pathmoshal in Enschede. This is a large sports complex. Good to know:
- Lodging is possible on all nights: from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 August.
- The cost is 20€ per night.
- In the registration form for the INTRO in Enschede, you can reserve your sleeping place.
- Toilets and showers are available.
- Breakfast is arranged for you every morning.
- You sleep together in the hall on your own mat or air mattress (bring your own).
- Important: the hall is closed every day between 10:00 and 17:00.
- You will be given a sleeping wristband, which must be visible to security.
- You are allowed to bring one bag of luggage (for logistics reasons). Please attach an easily recognisable tag to your bag.
- You are responsible for your own belongings.

Saxion protects the privacy of all those involved in its educational and research activities. It considers it its duty of care to handle the personal data of all its stakeholders carefully and transparently. Therefore Saxion takes organisational and technical measures to prevent breaches of the privacy of its students, students and alumni, former and current staff and applicants, external parties including temporary staff, guests and field representatives.
Saxion wants to set an example for its students, who must also take responsibility in their own (future) professional practice.
We ask you to provide certain personal data for participation in INTRO 2024. These include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, education, student number, telephone number contact person in case of emergency, and medical data (allergies, use of medication, illnesses, diet, etc.).
These data are (partly) provided to the INTRO organisation, security and caterers in connection with possible emergencies. Agreements have been made with these parties regarding the handling of this data. Two months after the INTRO, this data will be deleted from all the above recipients.
During the INTRO, photographs and film recordings are made. Participating in the INTRO means that visual material (photo and video) with your picture may be used for publicity purposes.
