Requirements
For the master’s degree programme ICT: Software Engineering we seek ambitious students with a talent for innovation. We therefore work not only with a set of minimum educational requirements, but also select students based on their motivation and self-reflective capacities.
All students must go through the selection procedure in which they can be admitted or rejected. In order to be considered for admission, you must at least possess:
- a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or a related field (e.g. HBO-ICT, Computer Science);
- demonstrable knowledge about object-oriented programming, parallel computing, computer networks, databases, algorithms & data structures, software development processes & tools and research methodology;
- basic mathematical skills including precalculus, algebra, probability and statistics;
- a level of proficiency in English equivalent to TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0 (not necessary if you have a bachelor’s degree from a university in the Netherlands).
