Course content

The course consists of 2 modules which combines theory and short case studies:

  • International Business Law (6 ECTS)
  • European Law (6 ECTS)

The modules are assessed in a written exam (with intermediate written and oral products on which you receive feedback)

The second part of the course consists of legal skills and negotiation and conflict management skills. These are assessed in an individual portfolio. (6 ECTS)

The third important element of the course is the interdisciplinary LAB work. You choose one  or two assignments for a local or international client(s) and work with an interdisciplinary team of diverse students on this assignment. Your student life in the city of Deventer

Hanseatic city, Koekstad, Boekenstad, but of course the most important: student city. The narrow streets with nice boutiques and the Brink make Deventer very cozy. It is a city where you are quickly known, but where there is always something new to discover.
