Winter edition of the Blotenvoetenpad

From 2 December to 8 January, you and your friends can experience the winter edition of the Blotevoetenpad at Buitenpost. The path is open from Wednesday to Sunday, including during the Christmas holidays. This 2-kilometre barefoot path is a unique and adventurous way to discover the winter landscape at Buitenpost and learn about the estate's special residents. While barefoot walking is allowed, shoes and boots are also strongly recommended due to the high water level. Along the way, you can spot traces of the various animals that live on the estate and even pet the sheep and goats at the end of the trail. Suitable for all ages, a ticket to walk the path costs €5 per person. Groups of 20 or more receive a 20% discount on tickets, which can be purchased online or on-site. So grab a friend and head out to experience the magic of the winter edition of the Blotenvoetenpad.

Christmas night at Burgerweeshuis

Get ready to celebrate with joy Christmas Eve at Burgerweeshuis, on 24 December, at 22:00 CET! This Christmas party is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with great music, good company, and lots of fun. DJ Turne and Vieze Vedi will provide entertainment all evening with a mix of Hip Hop, R&B, House, Bass, and other popular songs, so come ready to dance the night away! The city centre transforms into a Winter Wonderland, where you can find small stalls with hot chocolate and Christmas treats in the surrounding streets. On the Oude Markt, you will find a big ice skating rink with a skating café next to it. And the best thing about it is that on Fridays the ice skate rink transforms into a disco where you can skate and dance to 90s hits from 20:00 to 22:00! You can visit the Winter wonderland from 9 December to 8 January.

Enschede - Flavor Wheel

At Volkspark, a 70-meter big Wheel is located from 13 December to 8 January. There, you can enjoy a tasty breakfast, a good cup of coffee, a cosy lunch or an extensive high drink. The gondolas are transformed into a private restaurant for maximum of four people and are heated and windproof... so don’t worry, it won’t be cold!

Enschede - Christmas afternoon parties

And if you are looking for a Christmas party, here are some options: Club Fellini is organizing a party for Christmas afternoon with Lasershow and glittery confetti to get you in the mood for Christmas! The party is between 12:00 and 20:00.

Aspen Valley is also planning big parties for the 24 ,25 and 26 December, so you have plenty of party options for celebrating Christmas!
