Update 11: Information about exams, resits and tips for working from home

Reading time Minutes

In this update we would like to provide some more information about exams and resist. We also share some tips of how to best work or study from home. Lastly we tell you about our Saxion Library.

Exams & Resits

In any case, up to and including April 6, the following applies to planned and scheduled exams and resits:

Written tests and digital tests that are organized in groups cannot take place. We cannot guarantee the reliability of these exams. Also other (individual) tests for which a presence at Saxion is necessary (in laboratories or in rehearsal rooms) cannot take place. These exams will be taken at a later time. So you don't lose a chance.

Oral exams and other (individual) tests may take place if they can be organized digitally and remotely. The programme/ school will contact you about this via email. Or, if necessary, contact your teacher yourself if you have a question. Assignments and other products can be submitted digitally as usual.

Do you have an exam that is the last exam before graduation and is it cancelled due to the above? Then, in consultation with the Examination Board, it can be examined whether another form of assessment is possible. If this applies to you, please contact your Examination Board via MijnSaxion.

Study completion delay

Naturally, a lot of thought is put into - and hard work is being done on - alternative methods of assessment. We are also in consultation about the binding study advice (BSA). We are doing our utmost to limit study delay. As soon as we have more information about this, we will inform you on this.

Study/ work from home

We would like to give you more information about studying/working from home and how you can do this responsibly and pleasantly. In this article you will find all the information you need about systems and apps.

Saxion Library

All Saxion buildings are closed up to and including April 6 and with it the Saxion-Library. We want to provide you with the best possible service remotely.

  • Do you have borrowed books at home? You can keep it until we reopen. No fines will be charged for this period and you can ignore any reminders.

  • Our databases and online services are available from home. Install Lean Library in your browser for easy home access. You can email questions about support with your research to: [email protected]
