Networking and Learning at the 2024 EAIE Conference in Toulouse

Reading time Minutes

Networking with universities and professionals from across the world, while gaining new insights through workshops – that’s what the annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference is all about. The 2024 edition, held in Toulouse, France, set a new record with 7,300 participants.

Saxion was represented with its partnerships team and several internationalisation coordinators actively attending the four-day event. We engaged with our international partners, discussed new opportunities for collaboration and gathered inspiration and knowledge from the many sessions and workshops. With a visible presence, including a booth, we were able to connect with many participants.

The European University Alliance E³UDRES² was represented as well at the Saxion booth. Participants were able to learn more about the alliance, goals and upcoming events. The conference provided a platform to showcase the alliance’s commitment to strengthening European cooperation in higher education.

European University Alliances were a central theme at the EAIE-conference this year, with workshops on building communities, integrating research and education, student engagement, and the development of European degrees. We had the change to learn from other alliances and exchange best practices. Alongside the knowledge-sharing, the conference offered many opportunities for E³UDRES² partners to connect.

We return from Toulouse with new ideas, strengthened networks and warm international partnerships. Want to know more about E³UDRES click here!
