IND Student Days: collect your residence permit

Onboarding

The IND will organize central residence permit pick-up days (IND Student Day) in Utrecht city, where international students must collect their residence permits. As soon as your residence permit is ready, you will receive an e-mail from Saxion with more detailed information about the pick-up day. 🏢

The central residence permit pick-up days take place on:

📅 Saturday 24 August 2024
📅 Saturday 14 September 2024
📅 Saturday 5 October 2024

Important information:

You will receive an e-mail with information about what date you are expected to pick up your residence permit (two weeks in advance). You cannot choose a date.
It is mandatory to pick up your residence permit on the date stated in the e-mail.
You need an appointment to collect your card, this can be done via a link which we will share via e-mail (You are not allowed to schedule an appointment via the IND website).
More detailed information will be shared with you via e-mail.

What to bring to your appointment?

Your passport. You will not receive your card without your passport.
Your appointment code. You will find this code in the e-mail confirmation of your appointment.

Biometrics at least 14 days before your appointment

To make your card, the IND needs your photo, fingerprints and signature. If the IND does not have this data yet, we will notify you to make a biometrics appointment. Make sure there are at least 14 days between this appointment and the date of the central residence permit pick-up days. If not, your card will not be ready.

Use the link to the online appointment planner, which you can find in your 'visa result' e-mail. Do not use another appointment planner. Please bring the following to your biometrics appointment:

Your passport.
Your appointment code. You will find this code in the email confirmation of your appointment.

Under 18 years old? €8,- train ticket

With the Off-Peak Young Person's Day Ticket young people aged 12-18 years enjoy unlimited travel with NS during off-peak hours for just €7.95.
