Goal
The project Breakthrough in polycotton recycling was initiated to find a solution for the conversion of the increasing amount of used polycotton textiles into valuable resources.
The research group together with NHL Stenden UAS and seven SME’s investigates, how polycotton textiles can be ecologically and economically separated into clean recycling streams. The goal is that these separated streams are converted into products for similar applications. By this, the value chain for these textiles could be closed.
Duration
The project runs from October 2019 till October 2021.
