RAAK MKB Rots in de brand
In this project, Saxion, the Netherlands institute for physical safety, the University of Twente, the business community and five safety regions investigate how and when innovative extinguishing platforms can be used intuitively through training and (minor) product adjustments so that they can be a fully-fledged part of the fire brigade.
A fire extinguishing platform can prevent personal injury and casualties, if used properly and trusted by the people who depend on it. The profession of firefighters, whether professional or volunteer, is one of the most dangerous there is. Let's work together to make things a little safer.
The project is a follow-up to the Firebot project.
The Ambient Intelligence research group mainly studies communication and interaction with the (extinguishing) robot. The Mechatronics lectorate is the coordinator of the project.
