Program objectives

The central government has made a subsidy available in 2022 for parties that work together with other parties in a consortium on complete and innovative solutions that contribute to the climate goals. Focused on application in practice, with an eye for technical, social and other factors that increase the chance of success. This scheme focuses on project development for electricity, the built environment and industry. The board of the Ecofactorij Cooperative has applied for and been awarded this Mission-Driven Research, Development and Innovation (MOOI) scheme!

Objectives Cooperative Park Management Ecofactorij U.A.

The board of the Cooperative Park Management Ecofactorij has formulated the following objectives:

  • Operate a robust and stable electricity grid for the members. This includes, among other things:

    • Documentation of the grown network

    • Ensuring continuity of Smart Grid control -> Managed Grid

    • Guaranteeing the legal status of the network

    • Cyber Security

  • Offer options to members to minimize electricity usage costs. This can be done, among other things, by:

    • Lower connection costs than with a regular network

    • Exchange of electricity on your own network with minimal transport costs

    • Exchanging electricity with minimal input from the energy trading company

    • Offer options to use revenue models in the market

    • Offer options for maximum use of subsidy schemes.

  • Continue to develop knowledge about electricity use and energy transition. Think about:

    • Legislation and regulations for installing batteries

    • Sustainability in GVO (green energy building/processes certificates) and HBEs (transport fuel)

    • Charging facilities for e-trucks and passenger cars

Ultimately, this results in a vision for the development of the power grid for the next 5 years. For specific members it offers the opportunity to reduce the cost of electricity.
