In this lab we develop and test lab/pilot-scale processes to improve the efficiency of bio-energy concepts. We also work on biological/chemical conversion processes for the extraction of materials (including nutrients and bioplastics) from agricultural waste flows.
In this way, the Sustainable Energy Supply research group works with industrial partners and the Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Biology & Medical Laboratory Research programmes to create value from waste flows.
Are you interested in the Lab or do you want to collaborate with the Lab and the Sustainable Energy Supply research group? Please contact our School of Life Science, Engineering & Design (LED).
