Ambient Intelligence lab
In our Ambient Intelligence lab we develop smart applications related to safety and sports. We also investigate ways of providing people with feedback from measurements, to change their behaviour for example.
Imagine that you could monitor where fire-fighters are located in a burning building and their physical condition. This is now possible, thanks to the ‘SaxShirt,’ which we developed in our Ambient Intelligence lab. We have incorporated the sensors into the textile of this sensor shirt. The Ambient Intelligence lab is located at our Epy Drost campus in Enschede (Van Galenstraat 19).
