International Business School (IBS)
Welcome to the International Business School (formerly known as School of Marketing and International Management). The School where business, marketing, management and languages merge. Saxion International Business School (IBS) focuses on conscious business, entrepreneurship, international networking, and personal branding. This reflects in the way we teach, the attention for personal development, the content of the projects, and our international staff with various cultural backgrounds. Our School has approximately 1,000 students, employs 55 members of staff, and offers education at two locations (Deventer and Enschede).
Our programmes
When studying International Business you will work with peers from 35 nationalities and you will learn how to become a conscious business professional who really can make a difference. We expect you to spend at least one semester abroad and you will be able to start your career anywhere in the world after your graduation.

International learning and working environment
The international orientation of the International Business degree is reflected in our degree programme by means of subjects like e.g. foreign languages, cultural management, export management, and international law. You will study in an international learning and working environment together with students from various countries
Saxion Export Center
The Saxion Export Center (SEC) is part of the Saxion International Business School. Our ambition is to stimulate and support the international trade activities of SMEs in Overijssel and Gelderland. As an educational institution we are able to aid businesses through the efforts of our students. The students will conduct research for businesses in the area.

We herewith invite internationally oriented organisations to play an active part in the studies of our International Business School. The Business Relations Office will be happy to discuss the possibilities with you, whether it concerns the area of Finance, Supply Chain, HR or Marketing.
