Introduction
In our global village, people well-educated in ICT and especially its application in business will be at the cutting edge when doing business. Information systems and Internet trade are here to stay and are to be refined. If you want to play an important role: take the opportunity to top up your knowledge and skills and come study Business Information Systems (BIS) (final year bachelor’s degree) with us. In just one academic year we will not make you button-wise but we will let you get a grip on the principal concepts of the ways ICT can support business.
The Bachelors in Business Information Systems programme offers foreign students the opportunity to benefit from this achievement.
Course content
The BIS courses focus on the modelling of business processes and designing and developing the supporting information systems either for the Internet or otherwise.
The starting point of the development of information services is interaction with the user. Interaction design is concerned with designing interactive products to support the way people communicate and interact in their everyday and working lives.
Specific requirements
The International Graduate course Business Information Systems aims at international students at their final stage of studies in related fields. Students will be awarded a Bachelors degree after completion of the course and completion of studies, sometimes in conjunction with their studies at degree level at the university in their home country.
Career prospects
Graduates are well-trained information professionals in the analysis and design of business processes and information systems. They will be able to participate in complex projects to develop (internet-enabled) information systems. They will be able to play key roles in these projects and develop into project managers. Careers are typically international with good opportunities.
